SUSTAINABLE ADIDAS SNEAKERS!

Need new workout shoes but don't want to contribute to fast fashion waste? Adidas x Parley, a new collaboration featuring both men's and women's shoes and attire, uses yarn from recycled waste to prevent it from ever reaching oceans and beaches.

From Adidas: "This product is created with yarn made in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans: Some of the yarn features Parley Ocean Plastic™ which is made from recycled waste, intercepted from beaches and coastal communities before it reaches the ocean; NFC chip in heel of the right shoe: Scan with your mobile phone to follow the story of this shoe from plastic bottle to final product and to learn what you can do to help protect the oceans"

While there is still some non-biodegradable plastic in every workout shoe to help improve cushion, support, and performance, Adidas x Parley is a start; not every piece of the shoes has to be made with plastics and non-recyclable materials!
