Meet Pela Case: the compostable phone case made of plant materials. Created by environmentally conscious entrepreneurs, Pela was born from 4 principles: "reduce the amount of plastic waste created by consumer products, alleviate [our] dependancy on non-renewable fossil fuels and oil-based plastics, educate people about plant-based, sustainable alternatives that are both functional and beautiful, and build the kind of company [our] customers would be proud to rally behind." 

How did Pela Case do this? By creating a stylish, functional case made from innovative plant based materials. The case itself is made from a starch based biopolymer, recycled materials, and flax straw "waste." The phone is packaged with plastic-free, minimal materials, and produced in a way that minimizes environmental impact.
